Arts Emergency Service is an organisation that promotes access to arts education beyond those who can pay for it.

Date for diary: ‘A Future that Works’ The TUC has announced a national demonstration in London on October 20th demanding investment and growth rather than the government policy of austerity and spending cuts.

Researchers: UCU has met with David Willetts & is seeking a meeting with the govt BIS dept to highlight the problems associated with insecure employment and lack of career progression for our research members
Teacher educators: The UCU Policy Department has an electronic network with the contact details of UCU members in all parts of teacher education.
