UCU Fighting Fund
Eligible UEA UCU branch members who took part in strike action in May 2025 can claim strike pay from the UCU Fighting Fund.

UEA UCU Local Hardship Fund
The local hardship fund is a supplementary scheme maintained by the UEA UCU branch to help staff whose contract terms may take a bigger hit from the strike action, e.g. those on hourly, fractional, or fixed term contracts, or those whose income is below £30,000.
Members MUST apply to the UCU Fighting Fund if eligible, before applying to the Local Hardship Fund.
